FLP

Here Semcon engineers deal with strength and durability problems. Their tasks include recording thermomechanical stress behavior, determining and validating manufacturing influences and specifying real-life verification tests.

We are partners in the simulation of assembly and production processes as a basis for the precise analysis of operating loads, component optimizing using shape and topology optimization, and multiaxial durability simulation with conventional programs and methods.

With our functional verification models we establish the influences of complicated assembly processes, new joining technologies and special materials such as fiber-reinforced composites. In methods development we validate the influences of manufacturing (forming, casting, welding), joining technologies and new material properties on durability.
